Ivan Chai is the name of a traditional Russian tea made of specially prepared fireweed leaves. This tea was crafted from fireweed harvested in the mountains of coastal British Columbia, then hand rolled to be carefully oxidized for 3 days and rapidly dried. The result is a rich and full bodied, almost honey like flavour. It’s similar to black tea but with less astringency and no caffeine.
Brew 1-2 teaspoons per cup for 5-10 minutes. Re-brew up to 2 times for lasting flavour!
